City of Cambridge opened in 1997 and moved to its present site in Chittering in 2002. It is recognised for the quality of its products and its concern for the environment. In addition to prizes for its cask beers, the brewery holds a conservation award for the introduction of native reed beds at its site to naturally treat its brewery water. Seasonal ales (subject to availability): Jet Black (ABV 3.7%), Sunset Square (ABV 4.4%), Bramling Traditional (ABV 5.5%), Drummer St Stout (ABV 4.5%), Mich'aelmas (ABV 4.6%), Holly Heaven (ABV 5.2%). All beers are available bottle conditioned.

Boathouse Bitter
Boathouse Bitter (OG 1038 ABV 3.8%)

Copper-brown and full-bodied session bitter starting with impressive citrus and floral hop; grassy, fruity notes and cooked vegetables are present with finally a fading gentle bitterness.

Rutherford IPA (ABV 3.8%)

Satisfying session bitter with a soft hoppy, bittersweet balance and a light sulphury character after a fruity, malty start. This amber brew ends dry and bitter with a light balance of malt and hops.

Boathouse Bitter
Hobson's Choice (OG 1041, ABV 4.1%):

A highly drinkable, golden brew with a pronounced hop aroma and taste, and a fruity bitter balance in the mouth, finishing gently dry.

Sunset Square (ABV 4.4%)

A blend of two best-selling beers to create a unique smooth flavour. A pleasing, golden colour, with a refreshing aftertaste.

Atom Splitter (OG 1047, ABV 4.7%):

Robust copper-coloured strong bitter with hop aroma and taste and distinct vegetably sulphur edge.

Darwin's 
				Downfall
Darwin's Downfall (ABV 5%)
A blended, ruby-golden coloured beer. Hoppy with a fruity character and a refreshing citrus aftertaste. Parkers Porter
Parkers Porter (ABV 5.3%)

Impressive reddish brew with a defined roast character throughout, and a short fruity, bitter-sweet palate.

Bramling Traditional
Bramling Traditional (OG 1055, ABV 5.5%)

Made with Bramling Cross hops, very fruity and delicious.
