| Loz Jones | "In 2005 Loz Jones began writing songs for what originally started as his first solo project. By the following summer, a five track EP entitled ‘Not The Only One’ had been released and Loz had been joined by five friends, each with as colourful and varied musical history as his own. Over eighteen months of dynamic live performances followed and slowly the six of them became ‘Loz Jones’ a band. So far they’ve supported a diverse range of well known acts and for three years running have played to over 6000 people at the Hobble On The Cobbles Festival in Aylesbury. 2007’s one-off single - ‘Jamie’ gained them more critical acclaim and built much greater interest in their activities. Spurred on by this relative success Lucy, Natalie, Stuart, Rob, Keith and of course Loz locked themselves away and began writing their debut album - ‘Spoiling It For Everyone’ and entered Echo Studios with producer Jamie Masters to record it in February 2008. What seems to make them tick is the kind of spirit, energy and honesty with each other that is only generally reserved for first-time, teenage school bands. This maybe because they were originally friends before combining their talents, but whatever the reason, by coupling that with experience and ability, they are a rare and exciting proposition. |

| Mainline Big Band | "The band is the longest running big band in Bedford and the surrounding area. Most of the famous big band names are represented in the Mainline repertoire including Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Billy May, Frank Sinatra, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodmen, Tommy Dorsey and the like. We can also muster up the music of The Beatles and Elvis Presley so it can be seen that the band is quite versatile. We play arrangements written for the original bands and arrangements written especially for us." |
| Malice | "Based in Haverhill, Suffolk, this versatile guitar duo swap guitars around. | Phoenix | Rising again from the ashes of ARGENT... It was during ARGENT's final tour of America that Lead Vocalist/ Guitarist JOHN VERITY, Drummer BOB HENRIT, and Bassist JIM RODFORD came up with the idea of forming a new band with a more straight-ahead, rocky sound combined with strong vocals and compelling hook-lines drawn from a wealth of experience and years on the road. The Argent split was amicable and since John, Bob and Jim were great friends who also admired each others musical abilities, a new band seemed an obvious progression. More.... follow link... |

| Syren | "Just Try To Resist" "It's all about the music. No thrills, no photoshop and no "souped-up" PR. What you see is what you get and what you hear is something else. In a culture where music has become a "fast food" industry, Syren has managed to bring back the art of songwriting with music that strokes your soul, entices you and gives you inspiration. These talented musicians are some of the best in their field & the band's live performance is second to none. The women of Syren have certainly paid their dues to the live scene whether it's playing industry showcases or "we gotta eat" local bars. Being in such high demand since their formation in September 2006 there is no doubt that these women know how to stalk a stage." |

| Thunderbird 5 | "It’s often a broad smile as each classic track is introduced. Each number seems to have been hand-picked to evoke memories of when we were younger. These songs are the backdrop to the teenage and early 20’s for many of the audience. But don’t think that I’m excluding the younger element here... the music these guys choose to play is timeless; it’s not unusual to see young faces in the crowd enjoying the music with the rest of us! This band are masters of ‘The Who’ covers - in fact they are renowned for them. Their set usually reaches a climax with 'Won’t Get Fooled Again' with the whole crowd rocking along to great musicians, playing great music." |
